Is it really true at almost all network marketers fail in their home based businesses?
In a word…. Yes! I’m sorry to burst your bubble and I’m pretty sure that’s not something they told you when you signed up or went to your first meeting, but it’s true.
Why am I telling you this? Not because I want you to fail because believe me I love seeing people make as much money from home as possible! I’m telling you this because you deserve the truth.
I believe that one of the worst thing network marketers do is they give people false hope. Now I’m not saying that they shouldn’t tell you their business works, because it probably does. I’m also not saying they shouldn’t tell you about all the big money success stories, because they deserve to be heard.
What I’m saying is they should tell you the cold hard facts:
Network marketing is awesome and it allows ordinary, hard working people to make 6 or even 7 figures from home!
And
You’re gonna have to work for it!
We live in a society that wants everything and wants everything right now! We aren’t so big on waiting for results. However, if you really want to build a true and lasting income from home it’s going to take time and it’s going to take hard work.
So what can you do if you need success sooner rather than later? The answer is simple… you can work harder. And what if hard work just isn’t your thing… can you still have success? Absolutely, but it’s going to take a lot longer.
You see, regardless of what you’ve heard or what your uncle Bob has told you the truth is, network marketing as a business plan works! And if you work hard enough or stick it out for enough time you can have success in any business!
The trouble is most people aren’t willing to put in the time or the effort to see the real success. A lot of them quit before they should and THAT is why almost all network marketers fail.
Not because of the comp plan or the product, not because of a bad upline or because it’s a scam. The simple truth, and the part that kind of stings is. In almost all cases where people fail in network marketing, they have no one to blame but themselves.
Don’t be one of the people who fail in this industry, work hard, put in the time and there is no doubt whatsoever that you will see success and lots of it!

Stay At Home Moms Make Money On The Phone
One of the hardest things for home based business owners to do can be simply picking up the phone and calling a prospect. In fact it’s a fear that is hard for even the most confident marketers.
Unfortunately, it’s something that every single network marketer will have to get good at eventually if they ever want to be successful in their business. It really is a silly thing to be nervous about when you think about it… people have a need and you have the solution! We should be excited to talk to people not nervous! We have what people need!
If you’re nervous or just downright scared of calling people on the phone one of the things you can do is practice in front of the mirror. Sure you might feel a little silly but it really can help you become more confident in what you’re saying.
This method is particularly helpful if you plan on using a script on the phone. A lot of times it’s the fear of the unknown that makes calling prospects so scary. So when you know your script backwards and forwards you’ll be much more confident.
Another thing you can do is practice with a friend or your spouse. Have them play different types of prospects and try to make the best out of every situation.
You see, the fact of the matter is… and this part really stinks…. Some people probably are going to be rude to you over the phone. When this use to happen to me I would get extremely upset because I thought it was my fault, something I had done wrong. It of course wasn’t, those people were just having a bad day or had some other type of problem that had absolutely nothing to do with me.
Listen to that carefully because most people don’t get it, when people are rude to you over the phone it has nothing to do with you! Once you understand that fact it becomes a lot easier to deal with the rude, nasty people because you know that it’s their problem not yours.
Of course 90% of the time there is nothing to be afraid of at all. Out of the thousands and thousands of people I’ve ever spoken to on the phone almost all of them have been incredibly nice and kind. Sure not all of them were interested in my business, but that’s just life.
Some will, some won’t, so what, someone’s waiting.
Somewhere out there, there are tens, hundreds maybe even thousands of people who want what you have to offer. So get on the phone, ignore the rude people, and start dialing like crazy. Because the more people you call… the closer you are to your victory!
